Fruit preserve Blackberry - From night black, fully ripe blackberries. The blackberry (Rubus fruticosus) belongs to the extensive rose family. The blackberries are divided into two large groups, the real blackberries and the hazel leaf blackberries. The blackberry is native to the temperate zones of Europe, North Africa, the Near East and North America. Blackberries are a good source of vitamins A and C.
